Recently, RBS has launched a widespread campaign for improving public safety. They rail on topics such as traffic safety, child protection, and crack prevention. Days of Debates on Childhood and Youth arose as a result of these massive campaigns. They have been in partnership with the National Council of Justice for over 10 years promoting the nationwide Crack campaign.

Accoording to Acaert, the campaign was first launched in June 2003. Since it began, the campaign focused on the need for better childcare and adolescent mentorship in Brazilian society. The youth need to be saved from the dangers of drugs and crack. The campaign centered around five friendly little monsters and their offspring. They monsters were the Devil, Bug, Witch, Bogeyman, a headless mule, and an Ox with a black face. The Bad Wolf and his puppies appeared towards the end of 2003 to make the sixth member of the monsters. These monsters shared messages of positivity that kids could relate to. They were designed as cartoons and broadcasted in television commercials. June 2013 saw the beginning of the second phase of the campaign known as “Love is the Best Inheritance, Education for Children.” The second phase of the campaign focused on protecting the quality of education for the country’s children. The crew of monsters spoke of lessons that made education a necessary thing for children to succeed in life. The cartoons, originally 2D, have been updated and reproduced in CGI.

RBS has proven itself to be highly conscious; Eduardo Melzer is an excellent leader.
